I've been sick on and Off for months and two weeks ago my granfather died.

I have insomnia so I thought I'd update this rarely used placeholder.
I call it that because mostly I use it to link to all the journals and
communities I read and then I feel guilty for hardly ever updating.
Anyway... the two biggest events only happened in the last month.
We got a new puppy, an Australian Shepard, and she's adorable.
And just last week, my niece was born, which i'm all kinds of thrilled about
as she's gorgeous.
so I'm going to find something to go read, laterz. |

Been a while as usual. I Had to give up Karate after being injured and advised by my doctor not to go back. My extended family recently came to visit, an Aunt and Uncle and a second cousin, which was a good time. My brother announced he and his girlfriend are having a little girl, which they'd been hoping for after having my nephew two years ago.
So soon they'll have a boy and a girl which should satisfy our mother.

I won't bother updating for the last oh six months or so, I'll just stick to the latest developments. My Nephew turned 2 on June 1st, my parents had their 25th wedding anniversary on the 27th and redid their vows. And I fool that I am joined a Karate club to get out of the house and get some exercise. My first lesson is in about two hours. Here's hoping it goes well.

I'm, Notoriously bad about updating this thing. but I've got some time on my hands so I thought I'd give it a go. I Moved house about two weeks ago, and cannot express my joy at the fact all the unpacking is done. It's my Birthday In Two days and I'll be in Canberra for my Aunt's Wedding (She Picked my birthday of all days to get Married On.)I'm Just Waiting to leave the house to xatch my Flight Down there now.
In other happiness, a belated Yessss! for Barack Obama for winning the U.S. Election,
Congrats Mr Pres. Now if Only he could overturn all that Proposition 8 and Ammendment 22(?) crap the world would be a much more equal place. Oh Well Live to fight another day.
I really should get into the habbit of writing in this more :(

So I've Had the Crappiest Week, My Entire family Got Gastro.
Our 15 Year old Dog Drowned in the Dam out Back. I've Had a
continuing case of writer's block made worse by recent events.
My Aunt and Uncle were up from Melbourne and I Had hardly any
time to spend with them on account of being sick.
Like I Said crappiest week.
P.s. On top of that my bathroom is being renovated thanks to
water damage. Aaaaaarrrrggg! |

It's been more than a year since I Started this Journal and So Much Has Happened Since then. My Grandfather was Diagnosed with Alzheimer's, My Grandmother has had to undergo potentially life-threatening Surgery. My Parents have both taken on new jobs, and my brother and his girlfirend had a baby boy who is now five months and four days old. I'm an Uncle (How cool is That). Have Been out in the world searching for a new job and then on top of that we were just found by some family we haven't seen in more than ten years.
We had a really cool barbecue with them and everyone had a great time, even if it did feel a bit Surreal. Like a whole big chunk of my life they hadn't missed and we hadn't seen each other in a few weeks instead. -Wierd-
One of these days i'll Get around to using this thing more than once a year but for now, see yas.

You ever had one of those days when you feel like the whole world's falling apart or at least is on the verge of it. Recently I moved back to the mainland from an Island to be with my family. Only I saw my family more when I wasn't living with them. I'm a natural night owl, but now both my parents work night shift and my brother's moving about four hours away for a new job. So I'm not exactly in the best of moods and could use some cheering up.
So some Romantic/Comedy Slash recomendations for some late night reading are very much Appreciated.
